چکیده

Abstract The speckle interferometry program at the 4.1 m Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope (SOAR), which started in 2008, now has accumulated over 30,300 individual observations of 12,700 distinct targets. Its main goal is to monitor orbital motion close binaries, including members high-order hierarchies and low-mass dwarfs solar neighborhood. results from 2021 are published here, totaling 2623 measurements 2123 resolved pairs nonresolutions 763 median measured separation 0.?21, 75 were closer than 30 mas. calibration scale orientation based on 103 wide with well-modeled motion. Speckle Interferometry at Soar in 2014

The results of speckle interferometric observations at the Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope (SOAR) telescope in 2014 are given. A total of 1641 observations were taken, yielding 1636 measurements of 1218 resolved binary and multiple stars and 577 non-resolutions of 441 targets. We resolved for the first time 56 pairs, including some nearby astrometric or spectroscopic binaries and ten ...

Speckle interferometry at the Blanco and SOAR telescopes

The results of speckle interferometric measurements of binary and multiple stars conducted in 2008 and 2009 at the Blanco and SOAR 4-m telescopes in Chile are presented. A total of 1898 measurements of 1189 resolved pairs or sub-systems and 394 observations of 285 unresolved targets are listed. We resolved for the first time 48 new pairs, 21 of which are new sub-systems in close visual multiple...

Time-resolved measurements from speckle interferometry.

We present time-resolved measurements by speckle interferometry of the light scattered by a liquid medium. Measurements were performed by use of reflectance geometry and are compared with results obtained in the same conditions with a femtosecond laser and a streak camera. The setup was also tested in vivo on the forearm of a human volunteer to demonstrate the potential utility of such a setup ...

Extended-range temporal electronic speckle pattern interferometry.

In recent years the availability of high-speed digital video cameras has motivated the study of electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) in the time domain. To this end a properly sampled temporal sequence of N-fringe patterns is used to analyze the temporal experiment. Samples of temporal speckle images must fulfill the Nyquist criteria over the time axis. When the transient phenomena ...

Measuring Close Binary Stars with Speckle Interferometry

Speckle interferometry (Labeyrie, 1970) is a well-tested and still used method for detecting and measuring binary stars that are closer together than the width of the atmospheric seeing disk. In this method, an average spatial power spectrum is computed from a series of short-exposure images. The power spectrum exhibits clearly defined cosine fringes, while the autocorrelation function (its Fou...
